Steps To Set Up A Custom Domain on Blogger
Step 1: Go To Blogger and Log In to your Account.
Step 2: Move your Cursor to your Blog’s Settings and Choose Basic Tab.
Step 3: Go To Publishing, you will find add custom domain, click on it.
Step 4: Go To Advance Setting Option, type your domain name there,say, www.TechGeck.com
Step 5: Now Click on the Save button, you will find an error message saying ““We have not been able to verify your authority to this domain. Error 12.”
Step 6: You will see the DNS setting instructions at the beginning of the error message. These codes are for my site you will get different codes as for each site there are different codes.
Step 7: Now you have to change your DNS settings. Go to your Domain Name Registrar’s (In my case it is Godaddy) and log in. Go to your Account and choose your domain name.
Step 8: Navigate to the DNS Zone File click Edit.

Step 9: Add a CNAME. For Name/Label/Host field, enter www and ForDestination/Target/Points To field, enter ghs.google.com.
Step 10: Add another CNAME. For Name/Label/Host field and For Destination/Target/Points To field, enter the codes, use your own codes generated in the Step 6.
Step 11: Add A-records. If you already have any “A-records”, modify them. If not, click “Add” button. You have to add 4 separate “A-records”, pointing to the following Google IP addresses.
